At CHAMPS Basketball, we believe in developing well-rounded youth—on and off the court. That’s why we’re proud to announce an exciting new partnership with G.E.M.S. Specialized Education Services, bringing optional academic tutoring directly to our summer basketball campers.
Supporting Student-Athletes Beyond the Game
The summer months are a valuable time for growth—not just in athletics, but in academics as well. With this in mind, CHAMPS has teamed up with G.E.M.S. Specialized Education Services, an organization dedicated to personalized, student-centered learning, to provide an Academic Boost Program that fits seamlessly into the camp schedule.
This new offering gives campers the opportunity to sharpen their academic skills through fun-based, one-on-one tutoring sessions, led by experienced learning specialists. Sessions are tailored to each student’s individual learning style and academic needs, ensuring a personalized and effective experience.
What Parents Can Expect
The program is designed to be flexible and convenient for families. Each session lasts one hour and is conducted on-site at CHAMPS camp, removing the hassle of coordinating additional transportation. Parents will receive regular progress updates via email, and insurance receipts are available upon request.
Whether your child needs support in math, reading, writing, or just wants to stay mentally sharp during the summer break, G.E.M.S. offers the tools to help them succeed academically while enjoying their time at camp.
